Dr Melani Anae QSO is Associate Professor in Pacific Studies at the University of Auckland. She has researched and published extensively in her specialty areas of ethnicity, health, education and Pacific approaches to a broad range of social issues. Her books include The Platform: The Radical Legacy of the Polynesian Panthers.
