Rebecca Hawkes (she/her) is a Wellington-based poet and painter who grew up on a farm near Methven. Her first book, Meat Lovers, was released this year. She is a co-editor for the online literary journal Sweet Mammalian and the climate poetry anthology, No Other Place To Stand.
