Christchurch born Victor Rodger is an award-winning writer and producer of Samoan and Scottish descent. Best known for his play, Black Faggot, he revived his cousin Tusiata Avia’s play Wild Dogs Under My Skirt under his FCC banner in 2016 and took it to New York in 2020. He leads the Maori and Pasifika creative writing workshop at the International Institute of Modern Letters and is developing several projects for theatre and television.
