As Māori and Pasifika storytellers, what do we want the future of indigenous storytelling to look like? This wānaka (workshop) explores ways of telling our own stories, navigating the mainstream writing world and the evolution of traditions and forms. It’s also a chance to have a kai with fellow creative crew from across the motu. Hosted by Kāti Kurī pūrakau guru Maurice Manawatu, with special guests Coco Solid, Rocky Roberts, Kera Sherwood O’Regan and Victor Roger.
With thanks to Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu
Please note that Karlo Mila and Tina Makereti were originally appearing on this session, but are sadly no longer unable to attend. They are replaced by Victor Roger.
